Chaos & Creativity in the Camera Roll

Creative inspiration has a funny way of showing up.

Sometimes it comes from a mood board, a colour combination, an interesting prop, or something you spotted while scrolling. Other times, it appears completely out of nowhere—usually when you’re nowhere near your camera.

And honestly? That unpredictability is part of the fun.

Being a creative means learning to notice those little sparks when they happen and being willing to chase the idea, even when it wasn’t part of the original plan. Some of the best concepts start with a very casual “wait… what if we tried this?”

And sometimes, you just have to become your own darn inspiration. 🤳

Not every shoot comes with a photo-ready model, a perfectly planned concept, or an entire production team behind you. So you improvise, experiment, step in front of the camera, and figure it out as you go.

What starts as “I guess I’m modelling today” can turn into something completely unexpected—and often, something really good. That’s one of the best parts of creative work: there’s always room to experiment, play, and turn whatever you have around you into something worth creating.
